A superbly written commentary on this season….and a much-needed reminder of what really counts, not just at Christmas, but year round. Keep up the writing and posting. We are blessed by your words!

Merry Christmas, Joy! Miss you everyday and actually have on one of the several sweatshirts you beautifully embroidered for me (large red apple holding pencils with a plaid teacher heading). Blessings to you and your entire family this Blessed Season.

It certainly has been a long time! Can’t believe you are still wearing those sweatshirts… It took me a minute to figure out who “Judy“ was but I was happy to realize it was you! Hope you are doing well… We live in Josh and Kristen‘s old house on Paty Place. It’s been nine years since we left the old neighborhood. Time flies!

Merry Christmas. ❤️

Thanks Josh for writing this! Another Saint in Appalachia was Mary Breckinridge in Leslie County, KY. who founded Frontier Nursing Service and brought midwives there. Although I’ve moved back to Fla, I miss everyone in TN and treasure your writings.
